Saircases and Staircase parts:  We service the entire US and Canada.  We sell all the components to a staircase: top rail, bottom rail, spindles and lattice trim.

When installing a stair case railing, our best advice is to use a lattice trim to fasten the spindles to the top rail so you don't have screw holes on the top of the handle.  When you are going up the stair and run your hand along the rail, you don't want any splinters caused by screw holes that might fray the wood.

For staircase railings, install the handrail sections between the posts, just like you would on a deck.  Let your posts stick up beyond the handrail UNLESS you don't want that interference.  If you don't want that, you cut your posts off and run your handrail right on top of the posts, so you have a continuous handrail.
